Degli onesti (literally “of /on the honest”) is a project for a site-specific video installation that moves from the novella Nastagio Degli Onesti narrated in the fifth day of Boccacio’s Decameron.
The title of the installation clearly eyes up and tends to the right that the honest man has to claim his own sake. And to obtain it‚ even through oneiric means not strictly terrestrial. It is therefore a work for a moral installation.
Through an uplifting apparition‚ whose extreme inappropriateness shakes the position of inactivity and the perceptive tedium of the viewer‚ he/she will be led to acquire a higher awareness‚ surprising him/herself existing in thinking about him/herself destabilized.
